Kate Stransky is a director and designer for film and commercials with a specialty for stop-motion animation and miniatures. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute with a focus in animation and film design, she studied theatre and set design in France and puppet theatre in Prague, Czech Republic. Kate is also a professor in the film department at Columbia College in Chicago where she teaches Production Design and Cinema Model Making.
