Kate Stransky is a director and designer for film and commercials with a specialty for stop-motion animation and miniatures. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute with a focus in animation and film design, she studied theatre and set design in France and puppet theatre in Prague, Czech Republic. Kate teaches in the animation department at the School of the Art Institute and in the film department at Columbia College in Chicago where she teaches Production Design and Cinema Model Making.
